Painless Wiring, or EZ Wiring?

Ok guys, I'm contemplating just rewiring the whole car and knock out any problems the car might have that I just don't see yet. I was going to purchase an 18 circuit Painless kit until I saw someone mention EZ Wirings kit. Are they both of the same quality or is one much much better than the other? One is like $160 while the other is $280. I have no problem with the money, I just want to know if the EZ Wiring kit is just as good as the Painless?

If anyone has done this recently and can give me any tips or maybe answer some questions, please email me because I want to do this soon, and get it 100% right.

I recently finished my car and used the Ron Francis wiring kit. It was awesome the wires are all labeled every six inches and I was able to splice in all stock switches and accessories. I mounted the panel on the floor behind my passenger seat. Their website is http://www.wire-works.com/ they are more expensive but the quality is great and you get everything you need.

I used the older version of the xp-66 it is not cheap it runs $399 but the quality is great and they include every wire you will need to do the job. I mean I still needed to buy a couple of small spools here and there but for most part I would say that 95% of the wires in the car came from that kit.

I heard EZ uses 14awg all throughout, however that's too small for alternators and high draw devices...did it look like it would be hard to cut the smaller wire in the alt circuit out and install better wire on those few circuits?

I've got a painless 12 circuit - but haven't installed it yet so can't really tell you ease of installation. I'm waiting to do it until I have another daily driver, when I finish rebuilding m 300ZX.
