Its not the weather stripping...i removed mine and still had the squeak. It wasn't until i adjusted the latch and raised the stoppers that the sqeak went away.

Sending the new guys down the street for a bucket of steam was always funny, they would come back and ask for a grill stretcher...restaurant humor.
